About Rosecroft Creative Ltd
My creative shift from years in the tech industry
After more than two decades working in travel technology, I saw first-hand how the Covid-19 pandemic shook the industry. With uncertainty on the horizon, I took a leap — blending my IT background with a long-held passion for wildlife photography. I invested in a laser engraver, learned everything I could, and discovered a unique process that transforms my images into beautifully detailed engravings on wood, slate, acrylic, and more.
Finding my creative spark
With a nudge from my stepson — a prop maker in the film and TV industry — I began experimenting further. My daughter, Emily, also helped tremendously with the creative ideas in the early days and designing the Rosecroft Creative logo. What started as a creative outlet during furlough quickly became something more, and in 2023, Rosecroft Creative was born.
A business built from the heart
After my role was made redundant, I took time to reflect. That moment of change became the catalyst to turn Rosecroft Creative into a full-time business. It began with early starts and local markets, slowly gaining momentum. Over time, through dedication and support from our community, the business began to thrive.
Today, my wife Alison and I run Rosecroft from our home in the Norfolk countryside, with our golden retriever Dudley often by our side (and sometimes on our stall!) and the help of RL Creative Studios with the Marketing. Surrounded by nature and creativity, we’re constantly inspired to try new ideas and push our craft further.
Crafted with care, and rooted in community
Rosecroft Creative now proudly offers a range of bespoke and ready-made laser-engraved pieces for both personal and business customers. We take time with every order to ensure quality, originality, and exceptional service.
We're also lucky to work alongside a wonderful network of Norfolk-based crafters and food producers at local markets — and we're endlessly grateful to the lovely customers who return again and again with new commissions and kind words.
